2008 The Magician Gewurztraminer

2008 The Magician Gewurztraminer
The 2008 Magician continues our annual goal of producing a wonderful, food friendly, aromatic white wine that is perfect for almost any occasion. This year’s blend is 85% Gewurztraminer and 15% Riesling. The grapes were sourced from both Evergreen Vineyard and Ancient Lakes Vineyard and aged in stainless steel to focus the dramatic nature of the fruit. The resulting wine offers stunning aromatics, with a huge bouquet of fresh cut green apples and pears, honeysuckle, and ripe tropical fruit. The acidity perfectly complements the fruit profile, and makes this well balanced wine the "go-to" wine for summer salads, spicy curries, BBQ, or simply sitting on your patio on a warm summer day.
