2007 The Archimage

2007 The Archimage
2007 proved to be another hallmark vintage for Washington State, and we took full advantage of the perfect growing conditions to produce the 2007 Archimage, our homage to the great Right bank blends from St. Emilion in Bordeaux. This blockbuster blend of 54% Merlot and 46% Cabernet Franc is exotic and ripe, full of fresh red fruits like cherries and currants, and framed by notes of cedar and mocha from the barrel program of 30% new French oak. It has precision and balance, while the weight of the fruit is buoyed by the natural acid and tannin that will allow this wine to age gracefully for the next 12-15 years. The tiny production of less than 300 cases assures you that this wine is a treasure to share with only your best friends!
