The 2022 Vintage is Heating up!

The latest news is HOT!! After a cool and wet spring, July brought us much warmer and drier temps, and we finished the month off with a 7 day stretch of 100+ degree weather. We are catching up to our “average” growing degree days (GDD). See the chart below to see where we stack up against what is considered a hot vintage (2015) and a cold vintage (2011). Harvest will still be much later than we have experienced in the past decade, but everything in the vineyards is dialed in for a great vintage. The canopies and crop levels are in great shape, and we are already so excited about 2022!!
