Jerry visits the 2014 Archimage

Reflecting the generosity of the vintage, the 2014 Archimage is full-bodied, with silky, mouth-coating tannins. Ten years in the wine is still drinking much as it did upon release and has yet to show much in the way of secondary aromas or flavors. It is dominated by dark fruit and herbal notes, with an extremely lengthy finish. The herb and spice box aromatics that are characteristic of The Archimage are present in abundance and the full mouthfeel and lush fruit make it a wonderful wine that is ready to drink upon opening. As I said, it is drinking great, but it still has years to go in its evolution. Enjoy with good friends and good food. - Jerry
