Scotia Rose was formed by frontman Jeff Weiss in 2023 and consists of local NYC musicians that were rocking the covers circuit after the pandemic laid claim to the originals projects they were working on prior to it. With Jason Laney on keyboards and backup vocals, blues rock superhero Marcela de Campos on Guitar, Antoinette Ady on violin, and Andrew Koss on bass. The band is poised to take their pop/rock nationwide after having given NYC a taste. Their debut single was released on July 26 2025 in conjunction with a gig at Brooklyn Bowl followed by some light touringlast summer leading up to a headline gig at NYC’s Cutting Room on September 5 to benefit EB Research Partners.
