We are proud and excited to welcome Ian Moore to our stage on Friday, May 8th for the first concert in a new series of community-driven gatherings from Sleight of Hand and SMASH—bringing together great music, amazing wines, and open conversations about musicians’ health and well-being. Set in a space that feels less like a club and more like a shared living room, these events are designed for connection, curiosity, and care.

Proceeds from each show benefit SMASH.

Ian is the co-fouder of SMASH, and a world renowned guitar player who cut his chops in Texas. He calls Vashon Island his home now (lucky for us). I found this blurb about Ian and couldn't have said it any better:

"He plays shows like they are the last thing he will ever do, and though he is known for his skills as a singer, guitarist, and songwriter, the ferocity and spirit are his stock-in-trade. Scotia Rose was formed by frontman Jeff Weiss in 2023 and consists of local NYC musicians that were rocking the covers circuit after the pandemic laid claim to the originals projects they were working on prior to it. With Jason Laney on keyboards and backup vocals, blues rock superhero Marcela de Campos on Guitar, Antoinette Ady on violin, and Andrew Koss on bass. The band is poised to take their pop/rock nationwide after having given NYC a taste. Their debut single was released on July 26 2025 in conjunction with a gig at Brooklyn Bowl followed by some light touringlast summer leading up to a headline gig at NYC’s Cutting Room on September 5 to benefit EB Research Partners. Jeff is bringing Scotia Rose to our SODO tasting room on March 7, 2026 for a killer night of live music! Doors at 6 opener on at 7!

Al and Kurt Bloch have been brothers since their early-'60s inception, and bandmates since those early days on Sand Point Way. BAD SCENE is their way of working out long-standing ISSUES and WOUNDS that have been plaguing them since childhood. SOME would say, better than a PSYCHOANALYST. That's for YOU, the LISTENER, to decide! We’ve hosted a handful of Bad Scene shows and they are always high energy, full of fun, and you never know who’s gonna show up!

We’re stoked to welcome back the one and only Tommy Stinson to Sleight of Hand Cellars in SODO on January 17th, 2026! While a lot of folks know him from the legendary Minneapolis rock act The Replacements, Tommy Stinson has made his own mark with other projects as well. There’s the music he’s released under his own name along with the bands Perfect and Bash & Pop as well as his stint as the bass player for Guns N’ Roses for nearly 20 years. With this prolific output, he has a lot to choose from when it comes to crafting a setlist. This is Tommy’s 3rd return to playing at SOFH SODO, and we’re honored as always! Openers are Dave Place, Karla Rose, and Little Venom! Doors at 6pm, show at 7pm SHARP!

Alain Johannes is coming back to the US in July and is bringing the rock...the Desert Rock! For this run, Johannes has teamed up with ex-QOTSA drummer Gene Trautmann to form the Alain Johannes Band. It's a power rock trio kind of thing. They will be playing material from Johannes' solo work, stuff from Eleven as well as his work with QOTSA, Chris Cornell, Desert Session, Mark Lanegan and others. We’ve had Alain play solo here in SODO on a couple of occasions, it is always a sellout. Now, with Alain and his band playing at this years Ohana Fest (Eddie Vedder’s festival) in September, here is your chance to catch him in Seattle!
